Short version: berrywishes.com was built without a place to put your personal information, so it does not gather any. The longer version follows, section by section.
The words on the image
Everything typed into the editor, from the name to the last line of wishes, is handled by your own browser, and the finished picture is produced there too. No part of it is uploaded to us. We could not read it even if we wanted to.
What stays in your browser
Two small things are kept in your browser’s own storage so that you do not lose them: an image you started but did not finish, and the list of images you marked with the heart. Both stay on your device, are never transmitted to us, and disappear when you clear the site’s data in your browser.
What we count
Nothing per visitor. The site keeps no record of which images were opened, by whom, or how often.
Search Console
Google Search Console shows us how berrywishes.com appears in Google results: how often a page was shown and clicked, nothing about who clicked. It adds no script and no cookie to the site. How Google treats your own searches is Google’s matter and is described in Google’s privacy policy.
Cookies and ads
The site sets no cookies of its own, shows no advertising, has no visitor accounts, and gives, sells or trades nothing about visitors to anyone. Cloudflare, which stands in front of the site, may place one strictly necessary cookie that tells browsers from automated traffic apart; it is not a tracking cookie.
Sending, printing, pinning
Sending from a phone goes through the app you pick in your own share menu, under that app’s terms. Pinning hands you over to Pinterest, where Pinterest’s privacy policy applies. Printing happens on your printer.
Servers and logs
Pages are served from a hosting server through Cloudflare. To deliver pages and fend off abuse, both handle technical details, an IP address or a browser name for instance, and may keep brief logs of them. We do not use those logs to recognise or profile anyone.
Age
The site is for adults, including parents sending wishes on behalf of their children. It has no feature that asks anything of a child, and we do not knowingly gather information from anyone under 13.
What you can ask of us
The site collects no personal information, so as a rule we hold nothing about you to show, correct or delete. If you have written to us and want that correspondence removed, say so at [email protected] and we will delete it.
